The world changing rapidly and education methods
and acceptance are changing from
Traditional Red Brick University Qualifications
to Career Oriented Qualification. Considering
the
changes British American University (BAU) came
about with notion of meeting the vacuum of
offering the due recognition to busy working
professionals with the deem qualification which
relates to their working career.
The BAU it is not like any other private or
virtual university. But it is different to
others, it
qualifications are employers oriented degree
qualifications. The work place is the tutorial
provider and therefore, working life is the
knowledge of academic. Due to the demand of
economic growth, not every worker are
professionally academic qualified, but most of
them are
work based knowledgeable professionals. To this
effect the elite academics are formed a work
orientated university in order to offer a
recognized professional qualification for the
employees
internationally.
BAU Academic Panel has come to a firm conclusion
that all employees have sufficient
knowledge and experiences through their working
life, which need a paper endorsement to
Confirm their standard of achievement. This
could be full filled by non other than BAU.
There are
numerous managers and executives who are in the
industry but do not hold a paper recognition
for their wealth of knowledge and contribution
to their specific industry. The BAU have taken
the
chalice to offering them the success and to be
the champion of the industry.
The BAU has given the initial screening and
assessment responsibilities to one of the
pronounced
Educational Organization, Westminster
International Varsity (WIV), which is
incorporated in Great Britain in the year 2000
as provider of Vocational Qualification leading
to Professional Memberships and Degree
Qualifications.
BAU’s mission is the enlargement of the whole
region where candidates can obtain a recognised
degree qualification in a friendly and
supportive environment without undue pressure.
Opportunities for personal and social
development are extensive. The recognition and
endorsement will improve personal development
planning, allow candidates to develop the general transferable business and social skills
that employers truly value and to develop a
portfolio which demonstrates that they possess
these skills. The BAU has professionals who has
wealth of knowledge and experienced in their
panel of assessors and advisers.
BAU wishes to specialise in today's emerging and
cutting edge business sectors as today's
cornerstone in formation of a generation of
young entrepreneurs and managers of
international
stature, with the culture, abilities and moral
qualities sought for in the modern world of
economy
and business. Every business, from the
multinational company to the local corner shop,
is to
become consciously a Training Intuition for the
future transformation of aspiration and personal
improvement where the real business objective
will be the evolution of the men and women
participating.
BAU assures that working professionals are able
to "dream", to form a vision of their future and
to work towards it; they will become focused,
inner-directed and motivated to achieve their
objective. BAU does not focus nor merely as a
facilitator of offering degree qualifications,
but to
be the heart of the driving philosophy for Work
Oriented Qualification awarder with the
commitment to supporting every individual to
realise their potential in its fullest
expression.
Current age of time, there are plenty of
opportunities for earning a degree
qualification, but two
decade ago this opportunity was not available.
Therefore every new employees comes with a
qualification and they clime up the ladder of
working life. But the experienced mature
employees,
can clime up as their juniors, due to the fact
of no paper qualifications to confirm their
standard
of knowledge. But firstly we should be clear
what we mean by "mature" candidates. Many
people in this age group would have chosen to
participate in third level education if they had
the
opportunity. The general definition of mature
candidates covers all those candidates who are
23
years of age or over. Mature candidates are
learners involved in second-chance or "catch-up"
education as well as individuals who have
already secured third level qualifications who
are
taking further courses either for professional
reasons or for personal development. Mature
candidates also have different requirements and
face different constraints but they share one
common feature. Their needs will not be
addressed efficiently by an inflexible model of
daytime
teaching based on the traditional academic year.
Mature candidates belong to one of the
underrepresented categories of candidates
currently participating in higher education.
Another
reason of crucial importance is the issue of the
current shortage of skills in a variety of
industries.
The Review Committee on Post Secondary Education
and Training Places (1999) also known as
the "De Buitléir" report refers to that there
were approximately 107,000 "mature" candidates
in
1997 in various categories of education.
However, the total number in full-time higher
education
was just 5,000 with another 22,000 in part-time
higher education. While the numbers in full-time
higher education are relatively small, the total
pool of mature candidates engaged in educational
activity is very substantial. It must be stated
also that international comparisons can be
difficult
as in some countries, like the UK, the cut-off
age is 21 so the participation of mature
candidates
would appear to be significantly better than
other countries as a result.
