The British American University (BAU) is working
in collaboration with several organisations,
employers, Training Organisations and
Professional Bodies to identify the most
essential methodology needed for development of
any individual.
Head or tail of a coin does not determine
success or failure. It is the choice one makes

itself in the principle of justice and a belief
that education empowers people. Enacting its
ideals, the BAU offers candidates a welcoming
and supportive community that encourages men and
women of all backgrounds to shape their lives as
leaders in service to others; the word ‘failure’
does not exist in BAU’s vocabulary. The
University recognises learner who can
demonstrated skills and knowledge gained from
previous learning and experiential learning. The
University does this under the Accreditation for
Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) scheme. The
University offers mature working learners an
excellent opportunity to gain recognised
professional degrees and postgraduate
qualifications based Credit Accumulation and
Transfer Scheme (CATS) for professional and
career advancement.
The British American University (BAU)
hereinafter referred to as the University, who
maintains individual information and record of
all candidates for the purpose of facilitating
Work Oriented Professional and Vocational
Educational Qualifications. This is to comply
with the regulations regarding the maintenance
of confidentiality of all candidates’ records.
The information which is directly related to
candidates, are maintained by BAU its centres or
by any party acting for the BAU. The personal
records, supervisory, and administrative
information’s which is not revealed to other
individuals. The progress records are maintained
separately for the purpose of awarding Credits
for Prior Experiences. The candidates’
information’s will be transferred to the BAU’s
Alumni Society for the continuity of the
candidate’s affiliation with the university.
A candidate is defined as a person who is or has
been enrolled at British American University
course plan either by Accreditation or
Affirmation methods. This policy is the
confirmation any candidate of BAU is considered
to be an adult and to have sole control over the
release of their information with the exceptions
provided for in this Policy. The term enrolled
is defined as having registered and paid fees
into a course of their individual choice.
The British American
University (BAU) is incorporated in United
States of America under the Convention de La
Hayed u 5 October 1961 by the Secretary of State
of Delaware with the registration number of
0272723 and the Authentication number 4426631.
The Senators of BAU wishes to emphasise that the
mission is to invest on Vocational and
Professional Degree Qualifications. BAU Senators
Governors confirms to all their applicants that
BAU is not a USA or UK Traditional Red Brick
University but it is an internationally
categorised and accepted as a Non-Profit Private
Professional and Vocational University with
their International Coordinating Office situated
in the United Kingdom.
